Kidnappers operate for 3 hours in Abuja, abduct 4 people

The criminals stormed the federal capital territory to kidnap about four persons.

The Cable, quoting a source, wrote that the kidnappers operated for three hours, from 12 am to 3 am on Sunday.

Going further, the news outlet reports that the attackers were said to have been dressed in military uniform and broke into the two houses through the fence and window.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Philip Aliyu Ogbadu, the Edo state commissioner of police, cautioned Nigerians against paying a ransom to kidnappers.

Legit.ng reported that while speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Friday, February 5, the commissioner advised the citizens to quickly report any kidnapping incident to the police authorities.

The police boss was reacting to the kidnap and killing of a US-based Nigerian in Edo state.

Legit.ng had also reported that Nigerian Twitter users reacted to a post by the police where it announced a whopping N10m reward for anyone who has useful information on the whereabouts of some suspects captured in CCTV footage.

It was reported that the post was shared via the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Thursday, February 4.

The bulletin contained the still pictures of two suspects who were captured by the CCTV at a crime scene.
