Sanwo-Olu in a report by Daily Trust said the Lagos state government had already started the process of rebuilding by offering support to small and medium-sized businesses that got caught up in violence.
The governor made the disclosure on Thursday, January 7, after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
News about Sanwo-Olu’s visit was disclosed by a presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad, on Thursday. The meeting between the Lagos governor and the president is coming a few months after he (Sanwo-Olu) revealed plans to rebuild parts of the state that were ruined by hoodlums who hijacked the EndSARS protest.
