Photos showing the former deputy governor of River state, Gabriel Toby, and his wife, Dame Christy have gone viral on the internet for a supposed show of humility.

According to an aide to the present government in Cross River, Andrea Ekeng Inyang, the two were about boarding a tricycle (keke) after attending the new year thanksgiving service in the Rivers.

He described as a ‘humble one’. Inyang said that they were followed by two police officers in a Hilux vehicle who offered protection till they got to their destination.
